Tim & Lillian's Trip to Sacramento!
Hello Everyone! Lil and I have been in Sacramento for the past 5 days, and it has been great! Lil has been meeting with folks from the California State Department of Rehabilitation, and while she's been doing that, I've been getting a lot of work done and trying to capture a few images of the city when I can. It's been a little rainy, and yesterday was really the first day that I could get out and shoot some photos without heavy rain clouds.
Before I shot my photos, I stopped by the Sacramento Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and spoke with Mr. Robert Welton, Member Services Executive, about membership and benefits. The Metro Chamber is an outstanding organization, and there is always so much going on. They also put out a quarterly publication with a circulation of nearly 6,000 copies per quarter. The quarterly publication "captures the entrepreneurial spirit of Sacramento Metro Chamber members, weaving their stories with the Metro Chamber's ongoing work to promote job growth and business success." The Metro Chamber represents business in the six-county Sacramento region including El Dorado, Placer, Sacramento, Yolo and Yuba counties.

Lil and I had a wonderful dinner with the directors of the State Department of Rehabilitation and other counselors and staff on Tuesday night! We met and ate at the River City Brewing Company. It was a fantastic meal and GREAT company!

So, here are several of the photos I took yesterday. I just walked up and down Capitol Mall - there is so much to see in Sacramento - this is just an extremely small sample of the beautiful city...

These kids were great! I heard one of them ask their teach, "How come we didn't get to see Arnold!?!?! LOL

So, today we pack up and head back to beautiful Santa Maria after a stop in Fresno. We will miss Sacramento, and we hope to come back again very soon..... Bye for now!
